Exciting opportunity for Deputy Director of Nursing (DDON) to help lead Belmont Nursing Home. This is a Fixed Term Maternity Leave Cover contract, starting in November, for 6 months with the possibility of extension for an additional 6 months.

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will be instrumental in the development and implementation of procedures to ensure each resident's clinical and care requirements are met, while providing explicit communication to families. You’ll also deliver clinical supervision to our team of Registered Nurses.

What you'll bring

- Tertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher) in Nursing and AHPRA registration. Management / Leadership qualifications will be well-regarded.
- Extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in the aged care sector,



ideally in a management capacity
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to provide instruction to nurses and build strong relationships with residents’ and their families
- Eagerness to learn and develop management skills

- NDIS Worker Screening Check, 2026 Influenza vaccination, and unrestricted Australian working rights
- Experience working in a TCP will be very highly regarded
