About the role

Mason & Dean manufacture premium steel gates, fencing and balustrades in Tamworth. We're looking for a reliable, organised person to run our powder coating department, working from our recent facilities in a clean, fresh workshop.

You don't need to have run a department before. If you have experience in powder coating, painting, fabrication or a similar trade, and you take pride in a quality finish, we'll train and support you into the role.

What you'll do

• Blast and prepare steel products ready for coating

• Powder coat steel products to a premium finish

• Pack finished jobs carefully, ready for freight

• Run the coating area day to day and keep jobs moving on time

• Order materials and raise purchase orders

• Work with our team, suppliers and customers on coating jobs

• Help with quality checks and keep the workspace clean and organised

• Hands-on and reliable,



with a good eye for detail

• Organised and happy to work independently
