Learning & Development Manager - Minto Location

We’re looking for a passionate Learning & Development Manager to shape learning across a fast-paced blue-collar environment based in Minto.

This opportunity is for someone who enjoys working both strategically and getting their hands stuck in - that means one minute you might be in a leadership meeting discussing how to build capability, and the next minute you might be out on the floor helping someone on the floor work through an issue.

For this role, we are looking for someone who has the balance of three core skillsets already nailed - the ability to show care, the ability to have a certain level of assertiveness with hiring managers, and the ability to be patient and versatile within ongoing projects.

The role:

- Lead the L&D; strategy, identifying capability gaps and turning business priorities into practical learning solutions.
- Drive GMP and regulatory training compliance, ensuring training records and systems are accurate and audit-ready.
- Build competency frameworks, structured training pathways and effective onboarding programs.
- Develop technical skills, leadership capability and cross-training opportunities across the workforce.
- Oversee the Learning Management System, training governance and reporting.
- Lead and develop a team of L&D; Officers across all shifts.




- Partner with leaders to embed a strong learning culture focused on engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.

The right fit:

- Proven experience leading Learning & Development in a blue-collar or regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of GMP training, compliance requirements and learning systems.
- Experience developing competency frameworks, training programs and leadership development initiatives.
- Confidence partnering with stakeholders at all levels and translating business needs into effective learning solutions.
- A collaborative leadership style, strong communication skills and a passion for developing people.
