We're establishing a new, independently owned property restoration business servicing Melbourne and surrounding areas, backed by extensive industry experience.
We're looking for experienced Restoration Technicians who can confidently manage water damage projects independently, from initial assessment and equipment setup through to monitoring and completion.
This is a hands-on technical role where you'll have the autonomy to run your own jobs, make practical decisions on site and deliver quality outcomes, with support from experienced leadership.
As an early member of the team, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape how the business operates and progress into a supervisory or leadership role as we grow.
What you'll be doing
- Managing water damage restoration projects from initial response through to completion.
- Undertaking moisture assessments, structural drying and equipment monitoring.
- Completing mould remediation works as required.
- Maintaining accurate job documentation and communicating with customers and builders.
- Working independently or alongside other technicians depending on the project.
What we're looking for
- Previous hands-on experience in water damage restoration is essential.
- Confidence independently assessing and managing restoration jobs.
- Sound knowledge of drying equipment, moisture monitoring and restoration techniques.
- Reliability,
initiative and pride in your workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and a skilled approach to customers.
- A current driver's licence.
IICRC certification is highly regarded but not essential for applicants with demonstrated experience.
What we're offering
- $30–$45 per hour, depending on experience.
- Fully maintained take-home vehicle, including reasonable personal use.
- 12% superannuation, plus applicable overtime and on-call allowances.
- Permanent full-time employment, 38 ordinary hours per week.
- Shared on-call roster with occasional after-hours callouts.
- Company phone, quality equipment, tools and PPE.
- Paid training and professional development.
- Genuine opportunities to progress into leadership as the business grows.
Why join us?
We're building a restoration business focused on quality workmanship, practical decision-making and looking after our people.
We believe experienced technicians should be trusted to do their jobs, provided with the right equipment and supported rather than micromanaged.
You'll be joining at an exciting early stage, with the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution and grow with the business.
