About the Role

Seeking a Support Worker to assist a quadriplegic male living in Young, NSW with personal care and domestic support. The ideal candidate will be reliable, approachable, and able to fit into a relaxed and friendly family workplace.

No experience required.

Reliability is essential, and in return, we offer above-award pay rates.

Work Schedule

- Fridays: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM (including public holidays)

- Every 3rd Weekend:

- Saturday 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

- Sunday 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

- Sunday 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM

- Additional shifts may be available.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisted transfers using a ceiling hoist (wheelchair/bed/shower chair)

- Personal care: toileting, showering, dressing, and hygiene

- Exercise and physical therapy support





- Domestic duties: laundry, meal preparation, cleaning, mopping

- Grocery shopping

- Driving to appointments

Skills & Requirements

- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Completion of online COVID-19 training modules (provided)

- Valid driver’s licence and reliable car

- Willingness to follow PPE protocols (gloves & gown) in the event of COVID-19 risk
