The opportunity

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Area Manager to lead our Southern Tamanian Injury Management and Rehabilitation division, based out of our Hobart office. This is a rare leadership opportunity and an ideal fit for an experienced occupational rehab/workers compensation professional, passionate about leading people, owning strategic growth and delivering superior RTW performance.

You will be part of a growing, dynamic and successful management team, and part of a company with a strong collaborative and supportive culture. With a growing multi-disciplinary team of allied health professionals across Tasmania, you will lead a very established and expanding region in delivering the highest quality of Injury Management and Rehabilitation services. This is a full-time role based in our Hobart office balanced with flexible working options. The purpose of the role is to:

1. Manage our People in Southern Tasmania - our people are at the heart of our business! This role requires a leader who is passionate about the development of a successful and expanding Hobart team.
2. Oversee the Southern Tasmanian team's day-to-day service delivery of our rehabilitation services, ensuring consistent, timely, value-laden and customer focused service delivery.
3. Drive operational performance deliverables for Hobart, including customer performance outcomes, revenue growth and customer engagement.
4.



Working with the wider management team to establish and execute an ambitious strategic growth plan.
5. Working closely with our executive team to continue the growth of our branch network.
6. Act as lead point of contact for Southern Tasmanian Workers Compensation scheme insurer and agents.
7. Partner with national and state resources in customising and maximising efficiency and innovation in service delivery processes, supporting capability for growth.

About you:

- Mandatory; Allied Health background - OT/EP/PT/Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor or Registered Nurse with at least 5 yrs workplace rehabilitation experience;
- Mandatory; +3 years people management experience in an occupational rehab or personal injury industry related business;
- Strong, current Tasmanian Workers Compensation legislation knowledge;
- A genuine commitment to driving continuous improvement in service delivery and outcomes performance;
- A commitment to maintaining and promoting the existing positive culture within our team;
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational/financial requirements of a growing team, state and business;
- Passion for delivering growth through building sustainable new partnerships; and:
- A current Police Check.
