About the Opportunity

This is a broad and hands-on Financial Accountant opportunity supporting a sophisticated funds management and investment business.

You'll gain exposure across financial accounting, fund accounting, consolidations, corporate reporting, investment support, and commercial
analysis while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Working in a dynamic environment, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting investment operations, and driving process improvements through enhanced systems and controls.

Rather than a traditional month-end focused accounting position, this role offers variety, ownership, and the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives that influence business performance and growth.

�� Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports across multiple corporate and fund entities
- Ownership of group consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
- End-to-end financial accounting including journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Fund accounting responsibilities including NAV oversight, unit pricing support, investment reconciliations and fund reporting
- Preparation of statutory financial statements and management reporting packs
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to assist commercial decision-making
- Utilise and maintain financial systems including Xero, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Assist with audit,



tax and regulatory compliance requirements across corporate and fund structures
- Partner with investment, operations and external service providers to support business initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and enhanced financial controls
- Contribute to projects including new fund launches, system enhancements and business growth initiatives

�� About You

- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
- Strong experience in financial accounting, fund accounting, business services or audit within financial services
- Exposure to consolidations, group reporting and multi-entity structures
- Experience using Xero and strong Excel capability
- Understanding of investment funds, fund administration or funds management environments is highly regarded
- Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to operate in a hands-on environment
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive, commercially minded and eager to contribute beyond traditional accounting responsibilities
