x3 Process workers required

Pay rate: $33.05/hr Monday to Friday 6am - 2:30pm

Responsibilities:
- Producing a broad range of smallgoods such as sausages, cold cuts, ham, bacon and liverwurst.
- Operating automated vacumm fillers and semi-automated clipping equipment
- Assisting in ham production, including operating tumblers and ham-filling equipment
- Assisting with batching and preparation of meat mixes
- Operating industrial mincers, grinders and emulsifiers
- Preparing products according to the recipes, specifications and production requirements
- Supporting different areas of production as required
- Maintaining high standards of food safety,



hygiene, quality and workplace safety

Requirements:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, preferably in an abattoir or a similar industrial food processing environment (e.g. ex-Baiada Chicken staff are used to similar conditions).
- Experience operating sausage filling equipment is highly desirable
- Understanding of smallgoods production processes and food safety requirements
- Ability and willingness to work across different production areas
- Physically demanding role and must be comfortable working in cold and wet setting
- Reliable, team-oriented and committed to producing high-quality products
- Strong attendance and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn additional products and machinery where required
