YHA Sydney Central

YHA Sydney Central is located the heart of the city centre and close to all the action. This award-winning hostel, with indoor pool offers guests panoramic views of the city from the rooftop outdoor area. YHA Sydney Central offers shared dormitory accommodation as well as private rooms. The property has two commercial kitchens, spacious dining rooms, an underground bar, cinema room, cafe and lounge areas and a guest laundry.

The position
We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our team on a full-time basis. Our housekeeping team plays a vital role in maintaining the property’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

What are we looking for:

- Experience in a Housekeeping leadership role, managing, mentoring and motivating a team

- Commitment to supporting procedures with a focus on supporting safety and environmental policies





- A commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards

- Focus on team development and mentoring

- Experience in managing and controlling stock and inventory levels including working with outsourced linen hire companies

- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with property management systems is desirable

- Versatile availability, including the ability to work on a 24/7 roster, with night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
