Our client is an established and growing business within the construction and building products industry, supplying steel products and accessories to customers across the construction sector.

The business has built a strong reputation for quality, service and reliability and is looking for someone who wants to become part of the industry and build a career within it.

The Role

This is a varied role that will give the successful candidate exposure to several areas of the business.

You will work across customer service, data entry, order processing and warehouse duties, while learning about the products, customers and day to day operation of a construction business.

You do not need to be a construction industry expert. What matters most is that you are interested in the industry, keen to learn and serious about building a career within it.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries by phone, email and in person
• Process orders, quotes and general administration
• Complete accurate data entry and maintain customer information
• Assist customers with product and order enquiries
• Work closely with the internal team to keep orders moving
• Assist with warehouse duties and order preparation when required
• Learn the company's products, systems and processes
• Support the wider team wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Some previous exposure to the construction, building or related industries
• Customer service, administration,



internal sales or similar experience
• Genuine interest in building a long-term career within construction
• Hungry to learn and develop industry knowledge
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
• Good computer skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working between the office and warehouse
• Reliable, energetic and willing to get involved
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude

Salary and Benefits

Base $70,000 - $75,000 + Super 12%
