Calleo is partnering with a Federal Government client to engage an experienced Data Analyst (AI & Machine Learning) to support the delivery of innovative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning initiatives.

This role offers the prospect to work at the intersection of data analytics, AI and emerging technologies, helping shape data-driven solutions within a large enterprise environment. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, AI engineers and business stakeholders to prepare data, generate insights and support the end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle.

About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you will leverage advanced data analytics techniques to support the design, development and deployment of AI and Machine Learning solutions. You will work with both structured and unstructured datasets, providing insights that contribute to predictive analytics, machine learning models and business decision-making.
This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional looking to gain exposure to AI-driven projects while working within a collaborative and technically advanced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, cleanse and prepare structured and unstructured data for analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain datasets, features and data pipelines supporting machine learning development.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers and business stakeholders to define project requirements.
• Evaluate data quality, integrity and suitability for AI and machine learning applications.
• Support the testing, validation and optimisation of predictive and forecasting models.




• Monitor model performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Automate reporting and analytical processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Document analytical processes, data models and solutions in line with governance requirements.
• Research emerging AI, machine learning and data analytics technologies.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong capability in data cleansing, transformation and analysis.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and AI-driven analytics.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards and analytical insights.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting data-driven decision making and continuous improvement initiatives.
