The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Store Manager to join our Shoes & Sox Warringah team in the heart of the Northern Beaches!

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help lead the team, drive sales performance and create a welcoming store environment where customers and team members feel valued. You'll lead by example, bring positive energy to every shift and help deliver the exceptional service Shoes & Sox is known for.

From helping families find the perfect fit to celebrating team achievements and achieving store targets, you'll play an important role in making every visit a great experience.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and inspire: Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and motivating the team to achieve their best.
- Deliver exceptional service: Create a welcoming, engaging experience for every customer, helping families find the right footwear for their little ones.
- Drive sales and results: Monitor KPIs, identify opportunities and motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Create a standout store: Maintain high visual merchandising standards and ensure the store reflects the Shoes & Sox brand.
- Manage stock and operations: Support effective stock control,



replenishment, loss prevention and the smooth day-to-day running of the store.
- Champion a positive culture: Build a supportive team environment where everyone feels encouraged, appreciated and motivated.
- Maintain a safe workplace: Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and help ensure a safe environment for the team and customers.

About You

You're a natural leader who enjoys bringing people together, building relationships and creating great customer experiences. You're commercially minded, hands-on and ready to step up when needed.

You'll ideally bring:

- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Retail Supervisor or experienced retail team leader.
- Confidence coaching, developing and engaging a team.
- A passion for customer service and creating positive shopping experiences.
- A proven ability to work towards sales targets and achieve KPIs.
- Strong organisational skills and an understanding of stock management and visual merchandising.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- A friendly, patient approach and the ability to connect with children and their families.
- Flexibility to support the needs of a busy retail store.
