About The Role

The right candidate will be well versed in all aspects of industrial corrosion protection, carry out blast and DFT inspections, quality documents, experience in a workshop workplace and understand multiple coating systems and implement to a high-quality standard, with a NACE 2 qualification.

Please note this is a factory based position.

Reporting to the Production Manager, your day will consist of the following:

· Hands on role conducting visual inspections, surface profile tests and daily required testing.

· Be the primary interface between customer service and production staff to ensure customer needs are met

· Perform visual inspections of customer jobs, materials, products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

· Conduct daily tests to verify integrity.

· Collaborate with sales / production teams to understand job expectations.





· Receive shipments of both customer and supplier deliveries. Examine deliveries to ensure they are accurate quality, quantity and specifications.

· Advise the production manager of any issues that potentially impact production starting or continuing.

· Keep accurate and complete records in the job folders which is essential to the quality system.

· Follow established guidelines, instructions, policies and procedures, and maintain current quality compliance.

· Act as the point of contact between external engineers and external QA inspectors.

What we are looking for

· Minimum of 3+ year’s experience in Quality Assurance in the industrial corrosion industry is a must.

· NACE Level 2 certified a must

· Ability to understand technical specifications of materials and equipment.

· Excellent communication and customer skills and the ability to work with different teams within the company.

· Keen interest in quality assurance and attention to detail.

· Ability to work in a rapid-paced factory environment and meet deadlines.

· Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
