About the role

Ionic Projects is looking for a practical, organised person to manage property maintenance and help source and coordinate trades for building projects. The role is primarily office-based, with site visits as required. The position has two main responsibilities: managing day-to-day maintenance for rental properties and sourcing trades and suppliers for Ionic Projects' current-build projects.

Key responsibilities
Manage maintenance requests for rental properties, from the initial call through to completion
Liaise with property managers, tenants, owners and trades
Arrange inspections, obtain quotes and organise repairs
Schedule trades and follow up to ensure jobs are completed on time
Coordinate general repairs, refurbishments and building maintenance
Arrange commercial tenancy fit-outs and other building works
Attend properties when required and carry out minor repairs where practical
Check completed works and follow up any outstanding issues




Review invoices and keep track of maintenance costs
Source reliable trades and subcontractors for residential and commercial building projects

About you
Experience in property maintenance, building or construction
Know how to organise trades and get jobs done
Organised and able to manage several jobs at once
Comfortable speaking with tenants, property managers, trades and suppliers
Can obtain quotes and negotiate pricing
Valuable understanding of building maintenance, residential and commercial construction
Takes responsibility and follows jobs through to completion
Can work independently and use their initiative
Comfortable using a computer for emails, quotes, scheduling and record-keeping
Holds a current driver's licence
