Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated Assistant Production Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on workshop experience who’s looking to move off the tools and step into a production-focused coordination and sales role. You’ll assist with scheduling, job management, fabrication oversight, quoting, and ensuring projects move smoothly from approval through to installation.

What you’ll be doing: n

Coordinating with fabricators, installers, and suppliers
n
Preparing quotes and assisting with sales enquiries
n
Liaising with customers to confirm job details, timelines, and approvals
n
Checking job specs, materials, and quality standards
n
Helping maintain timelines and cost-effective outcomes
n
Communicating with clients and internal teams
n
Using CorelDRAW, SignLab, and Trello to manage artwork, production tasks, and workflow tracking
n

Robust organisational skills and attention to detail

A hands-on, practical mindset
n
Someone transitioning from a workshop or fabrication role and wanting to grow into production management
n
Confidence in customer communication, quoting, and basic sales support
n
Ability to work in a rapid-paced workshop environment
n
Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
n
Experience with CorelDRAW, SignLab, and Trello (or similar software)
n
Experience in signage, fabrication, or similar industries is a bonus
n
