This part time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes initiative, and thrives in a hands-on finance role. You'll manage the full accounting function, ensure compliance with reporting obligations, and provide accurate financial insights to support decision making.

Key responsibilities n

n
Manage end to end accounting and bookkeeping functions
n
Maintain general ledgers, journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
n
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment processing
n
Complete month end, quarter end, and year end processes
n
Prepare financial reports, cash flow statements, budgets, and forecasts for monthly Finance meetings
n
Maintain the asset register and manage asset reporting
n
Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, superannuation, and other statutory returns
n
Coordinate annual audit requirements and liaise with external auditors
n
Maintain internal filing systems, databases, and digital archives
n

About you nn
2+ years' experience in bookkeeping, finance administration, or a similar role
n




Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred)
n
Robust proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and cloud-based accounting software
n
High numerical accuracy and excellent time management skills
n
Clear written and verbal communication
n
Robust attention to detail, integrity, and problem solving ability
n
Comfortable working both independently and within a small team
n
