Senior Cyber & Cloud Security Consultant – Contract

Brisbane, Sydney or Cairns

I'm working with an organisation looking for an experienced Cyber & Cloud Security Consultant to come in on an initial 12-week engagement and help deliver a number of priority cyber security initiatives.

n

This is a broad role, so we're looking for someone who can comfortably work across both the technical and governance sides of cyber.

n

You'll work closely with the Director of IT and alongside a recently onboarded MSP, taking ownership of key security work and helping drive it through to completion.

n

We're looking for experience across:

n

n
Cyber security governance, risk and assurance
n
ISM, Essential Eight, PSPF, ISO 27001 and/or NIST
n
Azure,



Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security
n
Cloud security and secure-by-design practices
n
Security controls, vulnerabilities and remediation
n
Working with MSPs and external security providers
n
Government or highly regulated settings would be highly regarded
n

n

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can get across an workplace quickly, work independently and get things done.

n

There's also potential for the engagement to extend beyond the initial 12 weeks.
