Synergie Australia is seeking a reliable Waste Sorter / Bin Runner to join a recycling facility in Melbourne CBD. This is a hands-on role with the prospect to become permanent for the right person.

What’s on offer

$38.44 per hour
n
Monday to Friday, 5:30am – 1:30pm
n

n

The role

n

n
Collect and move recycling bins and materials
n
Manually sort recycling into the correct waste streams
n
Operate basic recycling equipment such as balers
n
Assist with bins and compactors as required
n
General cleaning and housekeeping of the facility
n

n

About you

n

n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n




Reliable with a solid work ethic and attendance
n
Able to consistently start at 5:30am
n
Current driver’s licence and able to wear required PPE, including hi-vis and steel-capped boots
n
Waste/recycling experience or forklift licence advantageous, but not essential
n
