About the Role
n Tanuki Restaurant is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead its front-of-house operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily service, managing staff, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

Organise and control the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and service quality;
n
Lead, supervise, and train front-of-house staff, including rostering and performance management;
n
Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times;
n
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner;
n
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow;
n
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and overall service coordination;
n




Monitor operational costs, including labour and stock usage;
n
Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate stock levels;
n
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations;
n
Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the venue in line with business standards;
n
Contribute to improving operational procedures and overall business performance.

About You n
n

n
At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar supervisory role;
n
Strong leadership and team management capabilities;
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills;
n
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality setting;
n
Solid organisational and problem-solving skills;
n
Experience with POS systems and staff rostering;
n
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
