The role of Management Accountant (Systems) in the services industry focuses on optimising financial systems to support effective reporting and decision-making processes. This temporary position offers a role to contribute to the enhancement of accounting and finance systems as well as BAU Accounting work & other process improvement projects.

A publicly listed services organisation is seeking a Management Accountant (Systems) to join its high-performing finance team.

Description n

The Management Accountant (Systems) will be responsible for , but not limited to:

Maintain and support finance systems, ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and optimal system performance.
n
Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting.
n
Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial insights and analysis.
n
Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying prospects to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.




n
Support system upgrades, enhancements, and finance transformation projects while acting as a key finance systems contact.
n

Profile n

A successful Management Accountant (Systems) should have:

n

A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
n
CA/CPA Qualification
n
Experience in an accounting or systems related role
n
Robust understanding of financial systems and reporting tools.
n
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
n
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
n
Knowledge of the property industry is advantageous.
n
