The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a agile ASX listed business in Melbourne CBD on a 3-month temporary part-time contract (3 days per week).

This is a fantastic prospect to join an organisation with a global footprint in their industry. You will work closely with a talented and approachable CFO, playing a pivotal role to deliver key financial reporting activities.

The Role

n

Reporting to the CFO, your duties will be wide-ranging to include:

n

n
Ensuring accuracy of the general ledgers with adherence to international reporting standards.
n
Month-end reporting, including profit & loss, balance sheet, sales reporting, cash reports, and stock reports.
n
Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to track financial performance.
n
Facilitate the company's VAT, GST & BAS obligations.
n
Assist with external audit
n
Assist with foreign currency management.
n
Assist in preparing company tax returns
n

n

Your Profile

n

n
You will be CA/CPA qualified with previous experience in ASX Financial Reporting,



Australian and International Tax Calculations and Reporting; and US GAAP Financial Reporting
n
You will need to be able to demonstrate robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
n
You will need to be able to commence mid-late June 2026.
