We’re all about high-volume contemporary Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine with an Australian influence, and we’re looking for a hands-on chef who can lead a team, keep service running smoothly and maintain consistently high food standards.

About the role
n
Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll help lead the kitchen team across busy services while ensuring food quality, presentation and kitchen standards are consistently maintained.
n
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
n
Leading and motivating the kitchen team during busy services
n
Ensuring food is prepared and presented consistently to a high standard
n
Working across preparation and service in a hands-on capacity
n
Helping maintain effective kitchen operations and service flow
n
Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standards
n
Supporting stock control, ordering and minimising food wastage
n
Training and mentoring junior chefs and developing the wider kitchen team
n
Helping create a positive,
qualified and team-focused kitchen environment
n
n
n
You’ll bring:
n
n
Previous Sous Chef or solid senior chef experience
n
Restaurant kitchen experience is essential
n
Experience in a high-volume kitchen
n
Strong food preparation and presentation skills
n
The ability to lead, support and motivate a kitchen team
n
Excellent organisation and communication skills
n
A hands-on approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure
n
Strong food safety and kitchen standards
n
