About the Role

Our client is one of Melbourne's leading Meat Processing Facilities, and they are on the hunt to add a High Reach Forklift Operator to their growing team.

This is a great prospect for candidates who have experience working in cold-storage and freezer environments, working with packaged meat products and are looking for a temp-perm opportunity!

Key Duties and Responsibilities
LF Forklift operation
Pick Packing
Stock rotation
Freezer operation
Warehouse duties
Loading and unloading trucks
Replenishment and manual lifting
Pallet stacking and general labour

Skills and Experience
Minimum 12 months of experience operating a LF Forklift
Hold a valid LF Licence, High Reach experience is essential
Have availability for 5 shifts a week, Monday-Friday
Experience working in a cool room/ freezer environment (-22 degrees) is highly desirable
MUST be comfortable and able to work with packaged meat products
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills




A strong safety focus
Hold a current Driver's Licence and have reliable transport
Must be able to pass a full Medical Assessment upon starting in this role
