An established structural engineering consultancy is looking to add a Senior Structural Engineer to its Sydney team.

The business has built a solid reputation for working on high-end residential, bespoke and technically interesting projects, often involving complex structures and designs.

n

You’ll be working closely with clients, builders and other consultants from concept through to completion, with the opportunity to have genuine input into the design rather than simply following a standardised process.

About the Role n

This is a hands-on Senior Structural Engineer position for someone who enjoys technically challenging work and wants to be involved in projects where there is a bit more creativity involved.

You’ll work across a range of high-end residential and bespoke projects.

Responsibilities n

n
Structural analysis and design across concrete, steel and timber structures
n
Working on high-end residential and bespoke projects
n
Developing practical and innovative structural solutions
n
Liaising directly with clients, builders and other consultants
n
Producing and reviewing engineering documentation
n
Conducting site inspections and providing construction support
n




Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the wider technical team

About You n

You’ll ideally be a Senior Structural Engineer with around 7+ years' Australian experience, although the right person with slightly less or more experience will be considered.

Has strong structural design experience within a consultancy setting
n
Has worked across residential and/or bespoke projects
n
Enjoys solving unusual or technically challenging structural problems
n
Can confidently liaise with clients, builders and other project stakeholders
n
Is comfortable taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery
n
Has strong knowledge of Australian Standards and structural design principles
n
Wants to work on compelling projects rather than repetitive, volume-based work
n
