Join the Advice Technology team at a leading financial services organisation, building the software that powers its financial advice platform.
You'll work in the Advice Automation squad, developing full-stack features with Java on the back end and Angular on the front end.
The focus is on user-friendly, reliable applications for advisers and their clients.
You'll work in an Agile team across new feature delivery, BAU enhancements and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities Design, build and test back-end services and APIs in Java Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end features in Angular Deliver significant technical enhancements from design and analysis through to release Write unit and automated tests to keep code quality high Carry out root cause analysis and resolve production issues Contribute to discovery sessions, stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies Follow and help improve team standards,



practices and code reviews Skills and experience Essential Robust commercial experience building back-end applications in Java Strong commercial experience building single-page applications in Angular Solid grasp of object-oriented principles and full-stack development Experience with unit testing, test automation and CI/CD pipelines Experience working in Agile delivery teams Clear communication and a collaborative, quality-first approach Desirable Experience in financial services, wealth or advice platforms Relational database experience (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience How to apply To apply, send your CV to Jack Winters at Halcyon Knights: .
