We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established business based in the Cannington area.
/n
This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent chance , offering an attractive salary package of $80,000 + superannuation upon transitioning to a permanent position.
/n
Working as part of a supportive Finance team, you'll take ownership of a variety of accounts payable responsibilities in a busy, high-volume workplace.
The Role /n
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
/n

/n
Processing high volumes of supplier and subcontractor invoices
/n
/n
Preparing fortnightly payment runs and ad hoc payments
/n
/n
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
/n
/n
Processing employee reimbursements and credit card reconciliations
/n
/n
Managing supplier queries and following up outstanding invoices
/n
/n
Ensuring accurate invoice coding and approvals
/n
/n
Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting
/n
/n
Working closely with internal stakeholders and the wider Finance team
/n
About You /n
To be successful in this role,
you will ideally have:
/n
/n
/n
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Officer position
/n
/n
Experience processing high-volume invoices and supplier reconciliations
/n
/n
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
/n
/n
Confidence working with accounting systems or ERP software (MYOB advantageous)
/n
/n
Positive Excel skills and an understanding of AP processes
/n
/n
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
/n
/n
Experience in construction, building or a multi-entity environment would be advantageous, but is not essential
/n
