We are looking for a passionate and reliable Casual Chef to join the kitchen team at the Old Noarlunga Hotel , a historic pub located in Adelaide’s south.

/n

With its welcoming atmosphere, refreshed dining spaces and menu featuring pub favourites and seasonal dishes, the Old Noarlunga Hotel offers a relaxed setting for locals and visitors alike.

The Role /n

Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team, you will assist with day-to-day kitchen operations, food preparation and service in a busy pub environment.

Key tasks include:

/n

/n
Preparing and cooking meals to a high and consistent standard;

/n
Supporting lunch, dinner, functions and busy trade periods;

/n
Following recipes, portion control and presentation standards;

/n
Maintaining a clean, organised and protected kitchen;

/n
Assisting with stock rotation, preparation lists and general kitchen duties;

/n
Working collaboratively with the front-of-house team; and

/n
Bringing a positive, practical and hands-on attitude to every shift.

About You /n

To succeed in this role, you will have:

/n

/n
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a pub,



restaurant or quick-paced kitchen;

/n
A genuine passion for quality food and great hospitality;

/n
Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills;

/n
The ability to remain calm and focused during busy service periods;

/n
Knowledge of food-safety and kitchen-hygiene standards;

/n
Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including nights and weekends; and

/n
A team-first attitude, because kitchens are already chaotic enough without ego garnish.
