Talent Quarter is proud to be partnering with a well-established GP Clinic in Double Bay to find two experienced Practice Nurses to join their team on a permanent part-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys working in a busy General Practice environment and is looking for the stability of a permanent role, with the flexibility of part time hours.
The Clinic
You'll be joining a well-established Medical Centre with a supportive multidisciplinary team, including:
18 GPs (a mix of full-time and part-time doctors)
3 Registered Nurses
4 visiting Psychologists
An experienced Practice Manager
A friendly reception team
With an established nursing team already in place, you'll have plenty of support around you while working across a varied Practice Nursing workload.
The Role
We're recruiting for two permanent part-time positions:
Position 1: 2 days per week
Position 2: 3 days per week
Between the two roles, Mondays and Tuesdays need to be covered each week.
The remaining days are flexible and will be agreed with the successful Nurses.
For example, one Nurse might work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, while the other works Tuesday and Friday.
As Practice Nurse, you'll work closely with the GPs, nursing team and wider clinic staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Wound care and dressings
Chronic Disease Management,



Care Plans and Health Assessments
Immunisations and vaccinations
Assisting GPs with minor procedures
ECGs and spirometry
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation using Best Practice software
General treatment room and Practice Nursing duties
About You
We're looking for a confident and experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys being part of a collaborative, patient-focused team.
To be considered, you will ideally have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous General Practice / Practice Nursing experience
Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification
Current National Police Check
Current Working with Children Check
Strong immunisation knowledge and experience
Experience with wound care, chronic disease management and health assessments
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A friendly, professional and patient-focused approach
The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a larger clinical team
What's On Offer
Permanent part-time | 2 or 3 days per week
Flexibility around your working days (Monday or Tuesday required)
Up to $45 per hour + super, depending on experience
