An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a well-regarded Compensation practice group, working on defendant Workers' Compensation matters.
In this quick-paced and highly engaging role you'll support your own dedicated lawyers and play a key role in keeping matters moving efficiently and proactively.
The Role
Working closely with 2–3 fee earners, your responsibilities will include:
End-to-end file management on defendant PI/Workers Comp matters
Preparing and filing court documents and affidavits
Online court filing and monitoring key deadlines
Preparing briefs for Counsel
Diary, court date and meeting coordination
Supporting lawyers ahead of hearings and appearances
About You
This role will suit someone who:
Has experience supporting in litigation, insurance and/or Personal Injury




Is highly organised, proactive and deadline-driven
Can confidently manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
Understands the importance of urgency, prioritisation and accuracy
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
