Career progression opportunitiesAn opportunity now exists for an Inventory Controller to join our team at the Darwin site.Reporting to the Cold Room Manager, this position is responsible for the inventory management of products into and out of our Distribution Centre.
The role is a blended hands-on role with early morning starts Monday to Friday (Occasional weekend and public holiday work may be required).
The Main Responsibilities Include But Not Be Limited ToLiaise with the site planner to monitor stock levels ensuring they are adequate to meet sale requirementsContinual review of stocks and stock levels to reduce write-offsForklift operation, receiving of inbound deliveries and replenishing of the pick locationsEnsure company products are correctly received, stored, recorded and allocated in a sound, saleable condition.Perform counts and carry out inventory control, stock balances and reconciliation on DC related inventory, daily, weekly, monthly via SAP.Monitor stocks and use-by-codes in alignment with shift activity, maintaining customer service.Manage Pallet and crate stocks/accounts and tracking assets and upload reports as requiredInvestigation of discrepancies with correct costs center allocations administered.Invoicing morning outbound activities and processing of orders to ready work for pickingReviews of quick / slow moving and identified problem SKU's carried out on a regular basis with recommendations implemented for corrective actions.About YouExperience in a fast-paced FMCG environmentPrevious experience with SAPSound understanding of Inventory Management best practiceExcellent time management and organisational skillsHigh level of Attention to Detail and analytical mindsetAbility to problem solve and work autonomouslyExcellent Excel and reporting skillsA forklift license is required with experience of forklift operation in a warehouse setting.What We OfferOngoing, competitive salary with annual review and bonus systemAccess to discounted private health insurance, amongst other retailer discounts and benefitsCareer development and progression opportunitiesA collaborative and supportive team environment.Exposure to diverse stakeholders and operations across Australia.Our StoryOurs is a STORY of a family business created by the Besnier Family in **** and is today the worlds' No. 1 dairy company.
