From our modern offices located at Girraween (NSW), we process, prepare, and distribute chicken meat products.We are currently recruiting for a Poultry Framer at our new rearing facility based in the Goulburn area in NSW.
The successful applicant must be prepared to work directly with livestock, including after-hours and weekends as required.
On-site accommodation is available for the successful candidate.Reporting to the Rearing Farm Manager and Breeder Division Manageryou will assist in managing day-to-day farm operations and supporting livestock management strategies to help achieve production targets and ensure the highest standards of animal welfare, efficiency, and safety.This role will see you responsible for, but not limited to:Supporting the breeding and rearing of livestockAssisting with monitoring and maintaining the health and condition of birdsHelping to move livestock to optimise feeding opportunitiesParticipating in daily farm operations such as shed servicing, grading, egg collection, and general hygieneAssisting with the upkeep of farm infrastructure including fences, sheds, equipment, and water supplyCoordinating with staff and contractors during catching,



vaccinations, grading, and deliveriesHelping with staff supervision and day-to-day planning in the absence of the Rearing Farm ManagerOperating machinery, plant, and equipment as requiredMonitoring feed levels, weighing birds weekly, and maintaining accurate recordsEnsuring compliance with WH&S;, animal welfare, and biosecurity policiesResponding to alarms and alerts on-site as required, including after-hoursSupporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise bird performance and farm efficiencySkills and ExperienceA relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in agriculture, animal science, or a related fieldMinimum of 2–3 years' experience in the poultry industry, ideally within a rearing or breeder environmentDemonstrated experience in livestock care, operations, and team supportStrong communication, time management, and organisational skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamPractical knowledge of WH&S; and biosecurity standardsWillingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidaysThis is a great prospect for someone with poultry or livestock experience looking to take the next step into a leadership support role within a growing and reputable agricultural business.Cordina Core ValuesThe core values of the company are DOING THE RIGHT THING, LEADING BY EXAMPLE, WORKING AS ONE, BEING YOUR BEST, CREATING NEW & BETTER WAYS.
