This role would suit someone with a strong accounting or finance background, excellent attention to detail, confidence working with numbers and financial systems, and the ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and industry requirements.Previous experience in NDIS or aged care is not essential, as we are looking for someone who can apply their existing financial knowledge while learning the specific requirements of the health and community services sector.Fluency in English, with fluent spoken Arabic or Assyrian/Chaldean as a second language — essential due to the cultural and linguistic needs of our client and workforce base.Key responsibilitiesManage accounts payable and receivable, invoices, payments and general ledger entries.Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, expenditure tracking and support with internal/external audits.Monitor outstanding accounts, investigate discrepancies and follow up on payments where required.Liaise with internal teams, clients,



suppliers and external providers regarding finance-related matters.Learn and apply relevant NDIS and aged care funding, billing and financial compliance requirements.Assist with payroll-related finance processes as required.Identify discrepancies or issues and assist with resolving them promptly.Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related tertiary qualification, or equivalent relevant experienceStrong understanding of core accounting principles and financial processesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsStrong ability to learn new systems, processes and industry requirements quicklyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesHigh level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial informationExperience using accounting software such as Xero or MYOBStrong Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheetsAbility to work independently while also contributing effectively to a teamFluency in spoken Assyrian and/or Arabic is essentialWhat we offerSupportive and inclusive workplace cultureOpportunity to develop your knowledge of the NDIS and aged care sectorsOngoing professional development and learning opportunitiesA diverse finance role within a growing organisationPurpose-driven work that contributes to the delivery of quality care and supportFor a confidential discussion about the role, contact Vilar at ****** or **********.
