We are currently working with a national law firm seeking a junior lawyer or Associate to join its Commercial Technology team in Canberra.This is an opportunity to work closely with respected partners and senior lawyers advising government and private sector clients on a broad range of technology, privacy, cyber and commercial matters.The RoleAdvising on commercial technology and ICT procurement mattersDrafting and negotiating a range of technology, services and outsourcing agreementsProviding advice on privacy, data governance and information-sharing obligationsAssisting clients with data breaches, cyber incidents and regulatory compliance mattersWorking on major government projects and procurement initiativesSupporting clients across contract management, risk and broader commercial issuesAbout You1-3 years PAE gained within a reputable private practice, government or in-house setting.Experience in commercial, technology, privacy, regulatory or government-related matters.Exposure to contracting, procurement, ICT, data protection or cyber issues would be highly regarded.
