UrbanCraft Joinery is looking for an experienced Microvellum Designer / Drafter to join our team in Boronia.
This is a full-time role for someone with solid Microvellum experience and a positive understanding of cabinetry manufacturing and installation.
You'll be responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings and production information, working closely with our project, factory and installation teams to make sure drawings are practical, accurate and ready for production.Key responsibilitiesPrepare shop drawings and production drawings using MicrovellumProduce cabinetry and joinery drawings for manufacturing and installationReview architectural drawings, specifications and project informationPrepare plans, elevations, sections and construction detailsPrepare material, hardware and assembly information for productionCoordinate with project managers,



factory staff and installersPick up and resolve design or production issues before manufactureMaintain drawing revisions and project documentationMake sure drawings meet project requirements and relevant standardsManage multiple jobs and meet drawing deadlinesAbout youMinimum 3 years' professional experience using MicrovellumExperience in cabinetry, joinery or kitchen manufacturingGood understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, hardware and manufacturingAbility to read architectural and construction drawingsExperience preparing shop drawings and production documentationGood understanding of installation requirementsStrong attention to detailGood communication and organisationAbility to manage multiple jobs and deadlinesAutoCAD, SketchUp or other relevant design software is an advantageAbout usUrbanCraft specialises in cabinetry and joinery across design, manufacturing and installation.
