They are currently seeking experienced Civil Concreters/Pit Builder OR Pipelayer to join their team on a long-term project based in Rochedale, offering stable work and excellent rates.What you will be doingAs a Civil Concreter/Pit Builder or Pipelayer you will be responsible for the below duties:Reading construction drawings and specifications for pit building and concrete works or Concrete/Pipe work for Aprons/gutter/drainageSetting out pit locations and levels to project requirementsBuilding stormwater pits and installing pit lids, grates and access coversConstructing kerbs, gutters and culvertsOperating hand and power tools safely and effectivelyInstalling barricades and exclusion zonesCompleting manual handling tasks as requiredAssisting with site preparation and general clean-up dutiesWhat you will needTo be successful in this role you will need to have the below:Previous experience as a Civil Concreter or Pit Builder or PipelayerProven experience constructing pits and concrete structuresWhite CardDrivers Licence and reliable transportAbility to perform physical labouring dutiesStrong commitment to workplace safetyConfined Space ticker and Working at heights ticket (If a pipelayer)What's in it for you10-month project with potential to extendJob Reference - BSINDJ**********$55/hr + Penalties + Travel AllowanceStart ASAPRochedale LocationAbout the ClientOur Client is a respected civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure and development projects across South East Queensland.
