About The PoolsThe summer pool season is approaching fast and we are now accepting expressions of interest in Pool Lifeguard work at our pool facilities.
Operating at four centres across the South Gippsland region, we're offering seasonal work opportunities for new and experienced Pool Lifeguards!
The centres are:Korumburra Outdoor PoolMirboo North Outdoor PoolSouth Gippsland SPLASHPoowong Outdoor PoolAbout The RoleAs a Lifeguard at South Gippsland Outdoor Pools, you'll help provide a safe swimming environment for all centre visitors.
You'll be patient, focused and friendly to keep pool-users informed and safe.
Duties of the role include:Supervising a large aquatic space while pro-actively ensuring a safe workplace in and around the pool areaMaintaining concentrated observation of pools and patrons to anticipate and respond to problemsEnsuring facility rules are being obeyed whilst at the same time educating facility users about safe aquatic practicesCarrying out intervention and preventative action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patrons, the facility and equipmentThis is a casual position and the hourly rate is up to $***** + Superannuation + Y benefits.About YouWe are seeking motivated, organised and pro-active Lifeguards to come and join the team.
The ideal candidate will have robust interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and all facility users.
