Daimler Trucks Geraldton, part of the Ulti-Mech Group, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Parts Interpreter to join our team in Geraldton.
Supporting commercial vehicle customers throughout the Mid West, Daimler Trucks Geraldton provides truck sales, servicing, and parts support across a wide range of leading commercial vehicle brands.
This traineeship offers a structured pathway to develop the knowledge and skills required to become a qualified Parts Interpreter within a supportive and experienced team.
About the Role
As a Trainee Parts Interpreter, you will learn all aspects of the parts department while assisting with:
Parts identification and interpretationCustomer enquiries, quoting, and salesOrdering parts and maintaining stock levelsReceipting and dispatching inventoryInventory control and stock managementMaintaining parts records and cataloguesSupplying parts to the workshop teamGeneral parts department administration and operations
Throughout the traineeship,



you will progressively develop the skills and industry knowledge required to work independently as a Parts Interpreter.

Be reliable, punctual, and committed to learningHave strong organisational skills and attention to detailBe confident communicating with customers and workshop staffBe comfortable using computers and learning new systemsHave an interest in automotive, trucks, or mechanical equipmentWork well as part of a teamDemonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic
School leavers, mature-age applicants, and career changers are encouraged to apply.
Desirable Requirements
Driver's licence preferred, but not essentialPrevious automotive, retail, warehousing, or parts experience is advantageous but not requiredGenuine interest in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry
