Summary:
As the Graduate Engineer in the Rockhampton based office, you will be working alongside the Project Manager on delivering civil asset renewal and maintenance projects in primarily the rail sector.
This role will be a mix of office and field-based workloads managing contractors, ensuring quality compliance and project management.
You will be required to travel occasionally throughout Central Queensland and surrounding regions.
This role is desirable for someone who has a solid interest in civil construction and project management for their career pathway development.
Responsibilities:
Civil and structural design & analysis tasks
Asset assessment and management
Level 2 and Level 3 Inspections
Engineering Investigations
Project coordination and monitoring
Quality documentation
Safety documentation
Database management
Client Liaison
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
Class C Driver's Licence
Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
Rail Industry Worker card (RIW) – desirable
Strong interpersonal and written skills to communicate with all stakeholders
High level of organisational and time management skills
Rail, civil construction and/or project management experience
