Project Accountant – Finance Transformation | 6-Month Contract$110,000 + Super - Seeking Candidates On Short NoticeWe're currently working with a major global organisation on an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Project Accountant to join their Finance team within a large Engineering function.
This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with large data sets, improving processes and using technology to make finance more efficient and accurate.
You don't need to be highly senior.
We're looking for someone who is a hands-on doer, with strong finance fundamentals and the ability to get stuck into projects and deliver outcomesThis could be an ideal opportunity for a Big 4 first mover looking to transition into industry, as well as candidates on a Working Holiday Visa.About the role:You'll be involved in a range of finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, including:Building and improving Alteryx workflows to automate finance processesWorking with large data sets and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencyReviewing processes to ensure they are accurate, controlled and minimise financial riskSupporting system implementations and finance-related projectsIdentifying potential risks and ensuring new processes and systems make sense from a finance perspectiveHelping modernise and streamline existing finance processesWorking with stakeholders across different teams and locations, including interstate teamsEnsuring processes are accurate, efficient and fit for purposeBuilding and improving Alteryx workflows to automate finance processesWorking with large data sets and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencyReviewing processes to ensure they are accurate,
