We're hiring an Account Executive - Professional Risks to build a new business book.
Your clients will come to us needing qualified indemnity or financial lines cover, and you'll take them from first conversation to bound cover.
When the same client also needs public liability, a business package or contract works, you place that too, so they deal with one broker at Tank.
Our renewals team looks after renewals, so your time stays on winning and placing new clients.Key responsibilitiesTake new financial lines enquiries from first conversation through to placementProfessional indemnity across engineering and construction professionals, IT and technology, accountants, real estate, life sciences, financial institutions and other professionsManagement liability, directors and officers, and cyberGather information, assess the risk and prepare strong submissionsApproach the market, negotiate terms and wordings, and present clear recommendationsPlace your clients' other commercial covers, such as public liability, contract works and business packagesBind cover and hand the account to our renewals team with a clean fileKeep your pipeline up to date in our CRM and build relationships with underwritersAbout youTier 1 (General Insurance Broking) as a minimum, or able to confirm it before you start.
A Diploma of Insurance Broking is highly regardedSolid broking or underwriting experience in financial lines,



with PI as a core strengthA technical PI specialist who also enjoys selling and converting new businessA track record of new business you have personally written, and you're happy to talk numbersEnough general commercial experience to place a client's other coversEngineering or construction PI experience is a plus, but not essentialClear written and verbal communication with clients and underwritersOrganised, accurate and confident using a CRMUnderwriters looking to move to the broking side are welcome to applyAbout usTank Insurance is a specialist commercial insurance brokerage based in Pyrmont, Sydney, and part of the Steadfast Network.
