Job DescriptionSolvd Australia is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.Play a critical role in supporting our Claims Operations team and broader business units, by ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent financial management for our Insurance clients.
You will take accountability of daily payments, trust account reconciliations, AP/AR processing, and monthly client reporting.
This role is central to maintaining financial integrity, meeting strict reporting deadlines (including WD2 each month), and partnering closely with key internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.This is a fast-paced, hands‐on role, suited to someone who thrives in a high-growth organisation, working to precision, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end‐to‐end AP and AR processes for insurance client accountsProcess a high volume and validate daily payments, ensuring accuracy and timelinessComplete trust account reconciliations and maintain up‐to‐date financial recordsPerform daily bank reconciliations and post all transactions accurately in D365Deliver monthly client reporting, WD2Maintain debtor levels at through proactive follow‐up and trackingCollaborate with Operations and Finance leaders to ensure smooth financial workflowsSupport finance‐related projects within Insurance Operations, including testing integrations with claims systems and toolsIdentify process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and client transparencyAbout YouYou're a proactive, detail‐driven finance professional with experience in a similar role such as Assistant Accountant, Finance Officer, Finance Analyst or Accounts Officer.
