About the Role
Reporting to the GM – Sales & Business Development, you'll be responsible for managing and expanding key customer relationships while driving new business across Victoria.
Your key responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Identify, target, and win new business opportunities in key industries
Negotiate and secure short- and long-term dry hire contracts
Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and hire solutions
Represent Porter Plant professionally across the construction and infrastructure sectors
What We're Looking For




We're after someone who knows the hire industry and understands what it takes to build long-term, trust-based relationships.
You're proactive, strategic, and confident in a sales environment.
You'll bring:
Experience in the plant hire, equipment rental, or construction / utility industries
Strong account management skills
Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships across multiple sectors
Commercial acumen and experience with pricing, tenders, and contract negotiation
A solutions-focused attitude with a cooperative approach to teamwork
A current driver's licence and the ability to travel interstate as required
