Dual Registered Nurse/Midwife – Portland, Victoria We are seeking an experienced Dual Registered Nurse/Midwife for a fixed-term contract in Portland, Victoria.
Contract dates: 28/09/2026–15/11/2026 Hours: 76 hours per fortnight Roster: Morning, late and night shifts, including weekends and on-call duties About the Facility This is a low-risk Level 2 birthing facility supporting approximately ***** births each year.
The service also provides outpatient care to women whose pregnancies may be considered too high-risk to birth locally.
You will join a close-knit team of eight midwives, one obstetrician and one paediatrician.
One midwife is rostered per shift, so applicants must be confident working independently.
Additional support is available from the on-call midwife when required, and two midwives are present for every birth.
