As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Payroll Officer to join our Payroll Operations team and play a critical role in ensuring our team members are paid accurately, compliantly, and on time.If you're a payroll professional who thrives on attention to detail, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional employee experience, we'd love to hear from you.About the role: As our Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end processing of New Zealand payroll across our dynamic retail business.
You'll work closely with stores, managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll is delivered accurately and efficiently every pay cycle.Your responsibilities will include:Processing payroll in line with New Zealand legislative requirements and company policiesSetting up new employees and maintaining payroll and time & attendance recordsProcessing employment changes, salary increases, terminations, and back paysManaging payroll enquiries and providing outstanding support to employees and leadersPreparing payroll reporting and supporting month-end activities, reconciliations, and payroll journalsAssisting with payroll audits and compliance requirementsMaintaining payroll documentation and process guidesSupporting continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancementsBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders across the businessAbout you: You'll be a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys working in a high-volume environment and takes ownership of delivering accurate outcomes.To succeed in this role, you'll have:2-3 years' payroll experience,
