Hindmarsh is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join the team delivering a major $80M community & sporting project in Western Sydney.This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant project that will create new facilities for the local community, while building your experience across the technical, design and delivery aspects of a large-scale construction project.Working closely with the Project Manager, Design Manager and site team, you'll take ownership of key construction packages and play an important role in coordinating consultants, subcontractors and technical requirements to keep the project moving.As a Project Engineer at Hindmarsh, you will be responsible for:Coordinating key construction packages and technical activities on siteWorking closely with the design and site teams to resolve technical and constructability issuesCoordinating consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project milestonesDeveloping scopes of work and supporting the procurement and tendering of subcontract packagesManaging RFIs, shop drawings, technical submissions and project documentationManaging subcontractors and service suppliers to achieve program, quality and safety requirementsCoordinating ITPs, hold points, samples and quality assurance processesMonitoring construction against drawings, specifications, codes and project requirementsSupporting project programming and monitoring progress against key milestonesProactively identifying and resolving quality and technical issuesSupporting and mentoring Site Engineers and Cadets within the project teamWe are looking for team members who have:4+ years' experience in project engineering within commercial constructionExperience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally $20M+A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalentStrong technical construction knowledge and an understanding of Australian construction standards and codesExperience coordinating subcontractors, consultants and site teamsStrong problem-solving, communication and organisational skillsExperience using Aconex, MS Project or similar construction softwareBuild more than projects.
