Job Description
NEW CARE SERVICES LTD is seeking a JuniorAccountant/AccountsPayable to join our growing finance team.
This is a part-time position based in our new offices in Brunswick, VIC ****.
In this role, you will provide essential support to our accounts payable function, processing invoices, managing supplier payments, and assisting with general accounting duties.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a supportive environment whilst maintaining a adaptable work schedule.
What you'll be doing
Verifying invoice accuracy and supporting documentation before payment authorisation
Preparing payment runs and managing supplier payment schedules
Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
Maintaining accurate accounts payable records and filing
Assisting with month-end close procedures, including accruals and prepayments
Supporting the preparation of accounts payable reports and aged creditor listings
Liaising with suppliers regarding payment queries and invoice issues
Assisting with general accounting duties as required
What we're looking for
Completed or current studies in accounting, finance, or a related discipline (tertiary qualification or equivalent)
Entry-level to junior experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting function
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel




Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Reliable and trustworthy approach to financial record-keeping and confidential information
Willingness to learn and develop accounting knowledge and skills
