We are a well-established garden maintenance business based in Park Orchards, specialising in the care of high-quality residential and commercial properties.
We are currently seeking areliable and motivated Gardening Assistantto join our team and work alongside our Head Gardener.
This role suits someone whoenjoys physical outdoor work and takes pride in maintaining gardens to a high standard.
This is acasual position with a minimum of three days per week, workingMonday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm (no weekend work).
Our work is located within a15km radius of Park Orchards, servicing a range of well-maintained residential and commercial properties.

About the Role




You will assist with maintaining and presenting a variety of gardens and landscapes to a high standard.
Duties include:
Brush cutting and line trimming
Push mowing and lawn maintenance
Hedge trimming and shaping
Pruning of shrubs and small trees
Weeding and garden detailing
Leaf blowing and site clean-up
Assisting with general garden maintenance tasks as required
This is aphysically active outdoor rolethat involves working in varying weather conditions.
Applicants must be comfortable performing manual work and maintaining a steady, productive pace throughout the day.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, applicants should have:
Minimum 12 months experiencein garden maintenance or landscaping
Competence usinggarden power tools and hand tools(mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, etc.)
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual outdoor work
Strong reliability, punctuality and attention to detail
Ability to work well within a small professional team
Working With Children CheckandPolice Check, or willingness to obtain these
