1. Recruitment Officer 3-6 Month Temporary Assignment
We are looking for a capableRecruitment Officerto provide hands-on recruitment support across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes
Coordinate job advertising and candidate sourcing
Screen and shortlist candidates
Coordinate interviews and selection panels
Prepare employment contracts and recruitment documentation
Manage onboarding and pre-employment checks
Provide recruitment administration and support to hiring managers
Maintain accurate recruitment records and systems
2. Senior Recruitment & People Coordinator Maternity Contract | Immediate Start
This is a broader role suited to an experienced recruitment or HR professional who can take ownership of recruitment and people-related activities across the council.
Key responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple departments
Partner with managers on workforce and recruitment requirements




Coordinate selection panels, interviews and appointments
Manage employment contracts and onboarding
Support HR and people-related administration
Provide advice and support to managers throughout the recruitment process
Maintain accurate employee and recruitment records
Assist with broader People & Culture initiatives as required
We are interested in candidates with:
Previous recruitment, HR or People & Culture experience
Robust end-to-end recruitment capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisation and administration skills
The ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities
Experience working within local government, government or a complex organisation is highly regarded
A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to hit the ground running
