The Human Resource Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR functions within the transport and rail industry. Responsibilities:

Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening applications, and conducting interviews.

Support employee onboarding and orientation programmes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.

Facilitate employee training and development initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities.

Address employee queries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Assist in the performance management process,



including appraisals and feedback mechanisms.

Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with business goals.

Support the organisation in maintaining a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
n
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a human resources role, preferably within the transport or rail industry.

Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
