About the Role n
Our client is a NSW government organisation based in Parramatta NSW. They are currently seeking a Site Operations Manager to join them as soon as possible on a full time temp contract until April ****.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Oversee the delivery, installation, daily management, and quality control of temporary infrastructure at the count centre site.
n
Implement and enforce WHS standards, risk assessments, venue security, emergency response protocols, and overall site safety.
n
Act as the main operational contact for external suppliers, service providers, and contractors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
n
Develop site movement plans, daily run sheets, traffic/parking flow, and site access signage.
n
Track build costs to optimize efficiency without sacrificing quality, while maintaining all site permits, logs, and compliance documentation.
n
Direct bump-out operations, ensuring safe removal of infrastructure and complete site restoration.

Key Requirements n
n
Proven track record of managing large, complex site operations within tight, immovable deadlines.
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
n
Current WHS certification and First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain), with a strong understanding of site safety laws and hazard management.
n
Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills across internal teams and external vendors.
n
Satisfactory criminal history check required.
n
Must be
available on weekends
.
n
Candidates must have
no current or recent affiliations
with political parties, candidates, elected members, donors, or registered lobbyists that could compromise strict political neutrality.
